Have you ever lived a life that starts at 4: am?

We are always telling ourselves this one big myth – I don’t have time !

For what do you need time, I wonder.   You already have that time but you are not realising it. It’s like you have abundant cash in your bank. But, you have lost your passbook and forgotten the account number. And now, you don’t know anything about that.

I have often seen this happening to me.  I get a lot of queries on and off on finding time to live a true life. Yes, the true life. The life that you are and you want to live. But, unfortunately we are busy living the masked lives.

And again, I often wonder why ? Why do you need to do that?

Lot of people meet me and tell me that they wished they could some quality ume with their family and kids. They wished they had time to devote on themselves, performing their hobbies. But, they would sigh over it and declare it impossible.

We have made it impossible. We have built the walls around ourselves. The walls of false assumptions. These assumptions have been built over the years.

Ask a child of 5 and try telling him your impossible stories. He would also wonder why! Because the soul of a child at 5 is abundant with hopes and dreams and absence of fear ! I wish you and I learnt something from them.

If you are sick and tired of living a random life, that’s happening to you, you can change it today. Yes, today you can.   All you have got to do is : be honest.

Be honest to your self.

This honesty took me some years to realise if not all.  But, it took me a loss , an irrepairable one.  It was death.

A part of me died with the departure of a soul that I have loved. My dad.  And my wonder stories keep getting deeper. I wondered why it is so that we realise our path only when something or someone hammers the life out of us.

I think that’s because the secret of living a truly meaningful life lies in pain. Pain is what makes us realise the value of joy.  We are afraid of pain and never truly know and experience it. Because we keep avoiding it as long as possible.

The sooner the pain comes in life, the better our life will become. I guess, pain should be looked as an integral part of our lives and embraced.  And when you would accept it, you will be liberated from the fear of pain.

My search for the meaning of life began with pain. As long as I had not experienced it, I had not felt that I should hit the pause button and think over.  It was only when the tragedy struck, I started to wonder because I knew there was reason for this unbearable pain.

As long as the life is going hunky Dory, you don’t bother. Because the absence of pain is taken as the right path of life.  You don’t question because you have been told that the good times are here and forever which is not really the case in real life.

We are in deep slumber. That’s it. And we have not yet started to take stock of our lives.   We have no idea but we have presumed that we have life for eternity.

It’s only when you realise that there is a timer and the time would go off anytime that the realisation begins. That’s how the personal loss hits you. And it hit me.

That’s when I hit the pause button and started to take the stock.  But lot of people lose that sensitivity and are never able to realise in their lifetime that they could have lived their own life, their own story, their own narrative jhad they been honest to themselves and found the pain to wake them up from the deep slumber
