Today, I am proud to tell you that I have embarked upon a new journey. This journey is a beginning of a new adventure. The adventure of the mind.
STARTED TO READ THE BIBLE OF KARMA – BHAGWADGITA AS IT IS
This shloka tells in a metaphorical way to stay associated with good and pious. If you did that, you will always stay free. After reading the shloka and its given meaning, I am feeling in complete sense of control over my emotions and senses.
There is so much that I am reading about this book. And yes, I am still treating it as a book only. Recently, I came across a series of YouTube videos by Ranveer Allahabadia. In these videos, he interviews some big names and asks them about the spiritual stuff, mental health and living life on purpose.
Watching his content, I am kind of liking it a lot. I listened to his interviews with Sudha Murthy, Swami Mukundananda, Shilpa Shetty and Radhakrishnan Pillai. And every time I went back to him, it made me realize how important it is for people like him and me to use these social media platforms and create content that will stay afresh for years to come.
I aspire to be a fitter guy. And in this journey of the last 5 years, I have found that I have improved. Today, one of the biggest landmarks for me would be – finding joy in exercising and pain.
Pain is what people avoid all the time and due to which they are always in escapist modes. But, in these 5 years I learnt that Pain is something that cannot be avoided. But, there is choice – you can choose the way you want to suffer.
You have the choice to take up the suffering that you find meaningful. Or else you will be made to suffer and you will be kept wondering why all that is happening to you. And you may end up wishing to get rid of the world ASAP.
As I move towards countdown to commemorate my 5 years of victorious running, I can only see my feet touching the ground and bending to bow to the mother earth. And all I wish to do is simply RUN. Moving is a blessing God has bestowed upon mankind. And there is so much joy that flows when I run.
Fitness is not just about exercises. Fitness is about the robustness of the mind, body and the spirits. Fitness is about the feeling and the even flow of energy through the course of my day.
A fit mind, a fit body is capable of living so much more. It never evades the pain or the suffering. It is willing to embrace all that in the pursuit of living a life with purpose.
